Thousands of Ohioans are planning to attend the WE ARE OHIO rally this Saturday, April 9, from noon to 3 p.m. at the West Lawn of the Ohio Statehouse, Broad and High Streets in downtown Columbus. The rally officially kicks off the drive for the citizen veto referendum to repeal Senate Bill 5, the attack on public employee collective bargaining.
On Monday, April 4, the WE ARE OHIO coalition filed preliminary petitions with the Ohio Secretary of State. The Secretary of State and Ohio Attorney General must verify that the ballot language proposed on the petitions is fair and truthful, and that process will take about 10 days. Then the coalition will print full petitions and begin circulating them.
Until then, we have plenty to do, and you can help:
